Weekend Trips

Weekends away from London are the club's main activity.

Our weekend trips use a wide variety of accommodation - bunkhouses, mountaineering huts, hostels, camping barns and campsites.

Weekends are organised on a rotating basis by club members. We generally head off on a Friday evening, sharing cars or arranging a pick up at a station for those using public transport. We usually cook and eat as a group with everyone helping with the meal preparation.

The average cost for a weekend away is about £15 per person per night plus a share of travel costs, which makes the trips great fun and great value.
