Non-members are very welcome to come along on this walk. Just turn up.
The Wormsley Estate is situated close to the Chiltern escarpment between Stokenchurch and Christmas Common. A lovely area of the Chilterns that is often overlooked. The walk, led by Hazel, will start at 10.15 from the Oxford-Tube bus stop at Lewknor. Lewknor is situated just off the M40 at Junction 6. There is plenty of car-parking in the area. The car parking is on the roadside just as you come off the slip road. The bus stop is practically opposite the car parking and is on the B4009, both are at grid reference 715974. There is a lane signposted Hill Farm. Those coming by bus should aim to leave central London at about 9.00. There are buses every 10-15 minutes and a number of pick-up points.
