David Watts' Navigation Weekend: Fri, 23rd Mar 2012 - Sun, 25th Mar 2012

This weekend is for anyone who is new to map reading or anyone who wants to refresh their basic navigation skills. The objective is for participants to have increased confidence in their map reading skills by the end of the weekend. Emphasis will be on route finding using map and compass, calculating timings to destinations, and analyzing details on the map. The whole weekend will be used to practise these skills on an informal basis.
